Lauren Mead, 31 and Adam Homer, 27 were married at Fitzroy Island on the 24th of August 2013 in an emotional beach ceremony. The wedding was a 3 day celebration with 140 of the couple’s closest friends and family. Lauren describes the wedding as an intimate celebration spent “laughing and shedding happy tears together.” The newlyweds had a romantic engagement atop of Earl Hill, the beautiful view of Fitzroy Island in the distance made it an easy choice on where they would spend one of the most memorable days of their life. Nicky Wu, one of China’s most popular celebrities, recently took a trip to Fitzroy Island to experience the wonders of Tropical North Queensland! This was Nicky’s first trip to Australia and he was most excited about seeing the Great Barrier Reef! Nicky Wu is an actor and ‘Mandopop’ singer who rose to fame in 1988 when he became a member of the Taiwanese boy band ‘Little Tigers Team’.
