The one stop sports and activity hire centre on Fitzroy Island.

Explore the magic and diversity of the Great Barrier Reef. Fitzroy Island boasts its own fringing reef, abundant sea life and sea turtles. Fitzroy Island Sports Hub is located in the Resort, close to the reception. Hire services including snorkel gear can be booked on arrival.

Open daily 9:15am to 4.00pm.

HIRE SERVICES

*Prescription Goggles are available separately for $15.00, or with the Snorkel, Mask and Fins package. A $100.00 refundable pre-authorisation is required. Prescription strength ranges from -1 to -8.’

Credit card imprint refundable deposit or other form of security deposit is required for all rentals.

Snorkel Tours

Discover the magic of the underwater world with our guided snorkel tours in the calm sheltered waters around Fitzroy Island. Encounter a variety of different marine life and corals, you may even spot a friendly Green Sea Turtle that frequent the waters around the island!

Intro Snorkel Adventure with Snorkel Safari – Your knowledgeable tour instructor will teach you the techniques for snorkelling and then take you on our guided snorkel trip – The Snorkel Safari.

Glass Bottom Boat Tours

Suitable for all ages, this 1 hour guided tour will showcase the coral reefs and marine wildlife surrounding Fitzroy Island, all from the comfort of a glass bottom boat. Make sure to keep an eye out for the local sea turtles that inhabit Welcome Bay!
